Lactobact LDL-CONTROL
Cholesterol Management Probiotic Capsules
4 Billion CFU Patented Strain · 1 Capsule Daily with Meal · Effective in 12 Weeks · Long-term Use
Lactobact LDL-CONTROL contains the patented probiotic strain Lactobacillus plantarum LP LDL®, which is currently the most thoroughly researched probiotic product for lowering cholesterol. By altering the metabolic pathway of intestinal bile acids, it naturally reduces bad cholesterol (LDL) in the blood while increasing good cholesterol (HDL). It can be used as an adjunct without changing existing medication regimens. It is recommended for long-term use with a balanced diet under medical supervision.
12-Week Clinical Study Data
- 36.7% reduction in total cholesterol
- 13.1% reduction in LDL (bad cholesterol) (only 1 capsule daily)
- 14.7% increase in HDL (good cholesterol)
- 32.9% reduction in triglycerides
- 5.1% reduction in systolic blood pressure
Applicable Scenarios
High cholesterol caused by acquired diet
Elevated cholesterol found in health check, not yet on medication
Adjunctive therapy with statin drugs
Daily maintenance for cardiovascular health
Elevated triglycerides
Adjunctive regulation for elevated blood pressure
Core Patented Strain
Lactobacillus plantarum LP LDL®
A probiotic naturally present in the human gut, exclusive patented strain by HLH BioPharma. Clinical gold standard research shows that daily intake for just 3 months can reduce LDL cholesterol by over 13%, while also improving total cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, and blood pressure. Each capsule contains 4 billion CFU of highly active strains.
Mechanism of Action
Step 1
Bile Acid Production
Bile Acid Production
The liver uses cholesterol to produce bile acids daily, releasing them into the small intestine to aid fat digestion. Normally, bile acids are transported back to the liver for reuse after completing their function.
Step 2
LP LDL® Intervention
LP LDL® Intervention
Lactobacillus plantarum LP LDL® can alter the properties of bile acids, preventing them from being reabsorbed into the liver through the intestine, and instead causing them to be excreted from the body via the gut.
Step 3
Natural Cholesterol Reduction
Natural Cholesterol Reduction
The liver must then extract cholesterol from the blood to synthesize new bile acids, leading to a natural reduction in blood cholesterol levels. This is a completely natural process that aligns with the body's physiological mechanisms.

Correct Understanding of Cholesterol
- Cholesterol is not an enemy of the human body, but an essential substance for life and a component of cell membranes.
- Cholesterol is involved in the synthesis of hormones and Vitamin D, and plays a role in protecting nerve cells.
- What needs to be managed is excessively high LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, not the elimination of all cholesterol.
- Better results are achieved when combined with a balanced diet and regular exercise.
Recommended Daily Dosage
1
Take 1 capsule daily with a main meal
It is recommended to take with a main meal (breakfast or lunch), as consuming with food helps the strain to achieve optimal efficacy in the gut.

Information on Concomitant Use with Statins
- Clinical studies indicate that LP LDL® does not affect the active ingredients of statins or other medications.
- If you are currently taking cholesterol-lowering medication, please consult your doctor before deciding to adjust your treatment.
- Do not stop medication on your own; any adjustment in medication dosage should be assessed under medical supervision.
Precautions
- This product should be used under medical supervision.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily intake (1 capsule).
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store sealed in a dry place, with a shelf life of up to 2 years.
- Dietary supplements should not replace a balanced and varied diet.
Main Target Audience
Acquired High Cholesterol
For high cholesterol caused by dietary habits, lack of exercise, or lifestyle (secondary hypercholesterolemia), LP LDL® shows the most significant effects. A 12-week clinical study confirmed a reduction of over 13% in LDL and 36.7% in total cholesterol.
Elevated Cholesterol in Health Checks
For individuals whose cholesterol is elevated but not yet requiring medication, LDL-CONTROL can be used with dietary adjustments to manage cholesterol levels naturally. Regular monitoring of blood values is recommended.
Used with Statin Drugs
Clinical studies confirm that LP LDL® does not affect the efficacy of statin drugs. It can be used concomitantly under medical supervision and may help reduce the required drug dosage (to be assessed by a physician).
Cardiovascular Health Maintenance
Chronically elevated LDL cholesterol can lead to plaque buildup in blood vessel walls, increasing the risk of heart disease and stroke. LDL-CONTROL serves as a natural auxiliary option for daily cardiovascular health maintenance.
Elevated Triglycerides
Clinical data shows that LDL-CONTROL can also reduce triglycerides by 32.9%, offering adjunctive improvement for individuals with metabolic syndrome and fatty liver.
Situations Not Applicable
- Limited effectiveness for primary (hereditary) hypercholesterolemia: Due to congenital insufficient cell receptors, the body cannot effectively absorb cholesterol, requiring medication.
- Effects do not persist after discontinuation: LP LDL® requires continuous use to maintain its effects; cholesterol levels will revert within a few days of discontinuation.
- Not recommended for healthy adults for simple preventive use; primarily suitable for those already having elevated cholesterol issues.

Why does LDL-CONTROL not require microencapsulation protection?
- Most probiotics require microencapsulation to protect the strains from stomach acid until they reach the large intestine.
- LP LDL® acts in the early part of the small intestine (affecting bile acid reabsorption), so it does not need to reach the large intestine.
- Therefore, LDL-CONTROL does not use microencapsulation technology, allowing the strains to begin their cholesterol-lowering action in the small intestine.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How does LDL-CONTROL lower cholesterol?
The LP LDL® strain can alter the properties of bile acids, preventing them from being reabsorbed into the liver through the intestine, and instead causing them to be excreted from the body. The liver must then extract cholesterol from the blood to synthesize new bile acids, leading to a natural reduction in blood cholesterol levels. This is a completely natural process that aligns with the body's physiological mechanisms and does not use any chemical ingredients.
Can I stop taking statin drugs while using LDL-CONTROL?
Please be sure to discuss this with your doctor; do not stop medication on your own. Adjustments to statin drugs require professional assessment. Clinical studies confirm that LP LDL® does not affect the efficacy of statin drugs, and both can be used simultaneously.
Is LDL-CONTROL effective for hereditary high cholesterol?
The effect is limited. LDL-CONTROL is most effective for high cholesterol caused by acquired dietary habits (secondary). Hereditary (primary) high cholesterol, due to congenital insufficient cell receptors, cannot effectively absorb cholesterol and requires medication, so it cannot solely rely on probiotics.
Will cholesterol levels rebound after stopping use?
Yes. LP LDL® maintains its effects by continuously altering the bile acid metabolic pathway. Cholesterol levels will gradually revert within a few days of discontinuation. Therefore, continuous long-term use is necessary to maintain the effect.
How long does it take to see results?
Clinical studies show significant improvement after 12 weeks (3 months). The officially recommended course of treatment is 6 months (180 capsules) to achieve optimal and stable results. Regular monitoring of blood cholesterol levels is recommended to evaluate efficacy.
Will LDL-CONTROL interact with other medications?
Clinical studies indicate that the active ingredients of other medications are not affected by LP LDL®. However, since many medications are metabolized by the liver, it is safest to inform your doctor before use and use it under medical supervision.
